Bark Bark!

I'm a dog! Kelpie/Cross (either Cattle or Rotweiler), I have a bad case of puppy breath and I'm being raised by Wendy. Therefore, she's the 'Fudgeraiser' and I'm 'the Fudge'! I would like to travel to the Netherlands with Wendy, so we can start a new life there together. But we need a little help. So this site became a 'Fundraising' site for me. Out of that the wordjoke 'Fudgeraiser' came to life. Hope you'll help us out with just 1 dollar. We'll keep you posted on our progress! To donate, simply click on the "Chip In" button on the left, after which you'll be directed to the secured Paypal site. It's easy and safe, and you can choose which way you'd like to pay. Please read my first entry for more information about my cause.

It's a dog's life

Dear guest,

Thank you for reading my first entry. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Fudge, I am a male Kelpie/cross, but I'm unsure what sort of dog my other parent is. It could be a Cattle Dog, but some people have said to my new owner, Wendy, that I look a bit like a Rotweiler, too. It's all very confusing.

Almost two weeks ago, I was looking for food at the riverside in st.George, Queensland. Yep, that's Australia. I felt very lost and hungry, and looked like a tramp. I lost track of all my brothers and sisters, who were also dumped at the riverside, just like me. I still don't understand who would do such a thing. Luckily, Wendy has told me she spoke to some people in town, and 5 of my siblings have been found and now have good homes. According to the vet, I am about 10 weeks old.

I have to tell you a bit about Wendy, as well. She's a backpacker, from the Netherlands, and is currently on her 2nd Working Holiday Visa. She couldn't resist my droopy eyes and took me in, even though she is travelling and doesn't have permanent residency. In 4 months from now, she will have to go back to the Netherlands, but she fell in love with me and now she wants to take me home with her, so that I never have to be left alone, ever again. I am really fond of her as well, every time she comes back from work, I wag my tail and get all excited! I feel safe around her, I even fell asleep in her lap the other day!

Wendy has been thinking about a way to get the money sorted to get me to the Netherlands with her, because it's gonna be expensive. But hey, I'm worth it, aren't I? Unfortunately, Wendy is not very rich, but she has faith in humanity, even though it was humans who left me for dead. It's too bad she's doesn't make a whole heap of dollars at the winery where she works, and on top of that, she is still paying money into her Dutch bankaccount to clear some bills, which is not very handy with the current exchange rate.
Clearly, she could use some help.

She read about this girl who actually cleared her creditcard debt through the internet by asking people to donate just 1 dollar. That girl thought: Everyone could spare a dollar, and she was right. She cleared her entire debt in just months!
Wendy is not sure yet how much it will cost to get me home with her, but she's very busy looking into this. And if there's someone who can clear their debt this way, Wendy thought it might be worth a go to try the same to get enough money together to give me a wonderful life in the Netherlands. So far she knows it will cost at least between 1500 and 2000 Euros (which is an equivalent to in between 2529,45 and 3372,60 Australian dollars!)!

So through this rather unusual way, both she and I beg you to help us out with the donation of just 1 dollar. Please?
In return, she will keep you posted on all the things I experience in my young life, including pictures. Also she'll work on a graph so you can actually see how much is raised for me so far!
And for just one dollar, you will receive a lifetime of grattitude and good karma! Isn't that worth more than anything?
